Our water assistance program was developed when the city of daraa, syria was under siege and the water supply was cut off. With our responsive rahma worldwide team on the ground, we were able to distribute water to the areas. Emergency funds were provided by our dedicated team members and water was distributed to the families providing one meter square per family. We were able to provide assistance to individuals who were displaced in the plains, farms, and those residing in the open under olive trees. As we expanded our operations to other countries, cities, and areas, we began launching water assistance projects in Gaza, yemen as well as continuing in Syria in addition to hygiene and cleaning supplies to families in each area.
